Terms of Service
Last updated: September 4, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Kashogie. Please read them carefully.
Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using Kashogie — our website, apps, and services — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
About Kashogie
Kashogie is an all-in-one educational platform. It offers an AI-powered Math Solver that walks students through step-by-step solutions, and a marketplace that connects parents with tutors for one-on-one instruction, online or in person. The platform facilitates tutor discovery, bookings, messaging, and payments between parents and tutors.
Accounts and Eligibility
- You must provide accurate and complete information when registering, and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- Accounts are available for parents, teachers, and students. Parents create and manage their children’s profiles and are responsible for their children’s use of the service.
Bookings, Sessions, and Payments
- A booking is an arrangement between you (the parent) and a tutor. Kashogie facilitates the booking, scheduling, messaging, and payment, and applies the platform fees and commissions displayed at checkout before you pay.
- Recurring bookings are billed according to the billing cycle you select at checkout.
- Bookings can be ended through the app; the options shown to you in the app describe how each arrangement can be ended.
- Tutors on Kashogie are independent providers — they are not employees or agents of Kashogie.
Tutor Verification
Kashogie verifies tutor identity by reviewing documents teachers submit. Verification is a screening step that supports safety on the platform; it is not a guarantee of a tutor’s performance or of any particular result. Parents remain responsible for their choices and supervision of their children’s sessions.
Acceptable Use
When using Kashogie, you agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law, including child-protection laws.
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users, or send unwanted commercial messages.
- Interfere with the security or operation of the service, or attempt to access data or systems you are not authorized to access.
- Copy, scrape, or resell content or data from the service without permission.
Content and Intellectual Property
You keep ownership of the content you submit to Kashogie — for example, tutor profile content, messages, uploaded images, and blog comments. You give us the limited permission to host and display that content as needed to operate the service for you.
The Kashogie platform itself, including its design, branding, and materials, belongs to Kashogie and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work to keep Kashogie accurate and available, we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular learning outcome or academic result will be achieved.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kashogie will not be liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the service. Tutoring sessions themselves are arrangements between the tutor and the parent, and each party is responsible for its own side of that arrangement.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your Profile Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing Law and Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Kashogie operates. If you have any questions about these Terms, contact us through the Contact page or the email below.
